As a continuous learner, this case study is meant to be an exploratory product design experience for a topic that's dear to me, how to improve as an educator.
After a teacher submits feedback, it’s difficult for them to assess if the feedback is clear and supportive for their students.
I conducted two rounds of user testing, one unmoderated in a questionnaire format, the second moderated using a prototype. I uncovered that educators in different school levels (undergraduate to graduate teaching professionals) are experiencing the same pain points of not understanding whether or not their feedback is valuable to their students. Additionally, some educators feared their feedback wasn’t being read, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
